MSF staff and patients in medical facilities in Sudan are repeatedly experiencing armed incursions, with clinics and hospitals being looted of medicines and supplies.
MSF urges the Sudanese military and the Rapid Support Forces to ensure the safety of medical personnel and health facilities, and to allow safe passage of ambulances and people seeking healthcare.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams have treated over 240 patients for trauma injuries, including wounds from gunshots and explosions. 

It is vital that more supplies and medical staff reach areas in greatest need to ensure people have access to lifesaving medical care.

Cutaneous leishmaniasis is a skin infection caused by a parasite transmitted by the bite of a phlebotomine sandfly. 

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) treats patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis at seven specialist facilities in the cities of Quetta, Kuchlak in Balochistan and Peshawar and Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Following the brutal murder of three staff in the Ethiopian region of Tigray on 24 June, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is calling for an immediate investigation into the killings and insists that aid workers are allowed to do their jobs in safety.

In response to the killings, we have suspended our activities in Abi Adi, Adigrat and Axum, in central and eastern Tigray. MSF teams in other areas of Tigray will continue cautiously to provide assistance to people in urgent need.
