Israeli forces and settlers have increased the use of extreme physical violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the all-out war on Gaza began in October 2023, according to a new report by Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF). 

In recent weeks we have observed an escalation of extreme violence occurring in the West Bank, Palestine, particularly in Jenin, Tulkarem and Tubas, since the ceasefire was implemented in Gaza. Brice de la Vingne, emergency unit coordinator for MSF, provides an update on the situation.

Nasser hospital, Al Aqsa hospital and European Gaza hospital are on the verge of closure due to a lack of fuel. This situation is threatening the lives of hundreds of patients, including newborns, who depend on electricity to stay alive.
