On Friday 8 September, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake, Morocco’s deadliest in more than six decades, struck the country’s High Atlas Mountains, leaving thousands dead and injured. Unfortunately, numbers are expected to rise as local rescuers try to save those buried under the rubble, particularly in remote villages that were affected.

As our hearts go out to the affected communities, our teams are assessing the urgent needs of those affected. Your donation will help us stay ready to respond to devastating tragedies and deliver critical medical care and relief.

By making a donation, you can help ensure that we can be there to provide medical assistance during times of crisis, like in Morocco.

Unless otherwise specified, contributions to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) are directed to our general fund, which is what we draw upon to deliver lifesaving healthcare wherever it’s needed around the world. Such unrestricted general donations give us the ability to direct funds where the needs are greatest, including under-reported and neglected crises.
