From mid-March, MSF has been assisting with the creation of new infection prevention and control and clinical care management guidelines. We have trained more than 300 Ministry of Health staff members in the new guidelines and protocols for COVID-19.
We have implemented triage infrastructure in six hospitals on the Cambodia-Thailand border to help healthcare staff prepare for COVID-19 patients. Training and technical support was also delivered in health facilities in three northwestern provinces (Pailin, Bantey Meanchey and Oddar Meanchey) in April.
Our team has resumed hepatitis C care in Phnom Penh, integrating the necessary precautions against COVID-19 for all patients and staff.
