Yemen: providing essential paediatric healthcare

In May 2023, MSF opened a paediatric ward in Al-Qanawis Mother and Child Hospital, in Al-Hudaydah governorate, offering quality health services to children aged one month to 15 years old. The paediatric team treats children suffering from medical conditions such as severe upper and lower respiratory tract infections, complicated malaria, persistent vomiting and/or diarrhea with dehydration, and other acute conditions requiring hospitalisation.
